Has anyone seen this before ?

In my latest game , I was the egyptians , and after building a tactical nuke , I pressed the B key . God knows how , I saw the nuke explode by itself INSIDE the city , and nothing came of it . There were no ill effects , like pollution , pop, etc . Then , after saving the game , I nuked the city intentionally , and experienced the ususl problems . Then , when my workers tried to move into the city , they died . Later , I tried moving a Radar Artillery into the city . After firing a few shots to the north-east , it died . Then , I tried the same with an infantry . It , too , died , after what seemed like engaing in combat . Later , the city returned to normal , after I drafted an inf. . But even after that , the inf. did not show up inside the city . Also , after nuking , there was an elite inf. in the city , though I had never fought even one battle with even barbs throughout the game . Before drafting , this was there in the city , and even this did'nt show um in the city , on the map , though this was the only defender . Has nayone seen this before ? Is it a bug or a feature ?

Well, I've never seen (or heard) anything like that, but my experience with nuclear weapons is very small. You might want to keep any saved games you have, and post about this in the bug-list thread, if no one comes forth and explains this.
