It is one of the new "sticky" threads. Any Mod or Admin can create a thread that will stay at the top of the page

Can I dig up a couple of my old posts, string 'em together, and call it a review?

Okay, so I'm lazy...

In fact, the more I think about it, it seems like something between a failed FAQ or an annoying ad stuck on my screen.

Yeah, it's an ad...

Evolution, was a release add on for Civ 2, only released in the UK, before Conflicts in Cilization was released. It was only on release for a short time then got pulled. I manged to get a copy. It was made on licence from Micriprose, but then they decided to do their own scenario add ons. So it got cancelled and the others relases of eveolution never made it out.

hmm, how long will these stick around? Maybe we could have 'YES I've voted' cookies (sorry, student politics )

But this is beginning to stick in my throat.

(apologies, again, and for the awful punning. More to come unless these things leave.)

the "Books and games" categories of AL&PD were made to host actual products that people can buy(through amazon). since mge or the original civ2 are not sold(on amazon at least), they are not listed...

You could always make a general comment about MPG on the Civ2-Mac version. It is sold by Amazon and you could post a MPG review on both the AL&PD and the Amazon site. Afterall, both versions are similar and designed to play together (well, at least with patches as an afterthought! ). BTW, I said to myself, "Self, this review doesn't look happy. Let's "kick-it-up-a-notch!" So, BAM! I tried to sneak in a link to the ACS Forums in my Amazon review! It probably doesn't support html and won't work , but I figured, what the heck... at least it's happier...

LOL! Okay, just head over to the Civ2-Macintosh Forum and hit the REVIEW CiV2!! sticky thread at the top! There you will find my personal unbiased review and links to the AL&PD page and from there, the Amazon review page.

Hope this helps!
