Turn to Mongoose
With Envio. Ecc. discovered, I've now changed my research to Intell. Int. Will complete in 4 turns.
Both the Believers and Cult are amassing sizeable armies. Mongoose, you're trapped on one large continent with the Believers, so I'd start building up those forces for when the rovers come your way. Sooner or later Cha Dawn will send her the tech. for Impact, and I don't think you want to deal with that now.

I will take int int as soon as you get it-- it really helps policing the Hive empire
and gang, we may be giving the AI too much credit here. WE will all have planes soon. Over in North America, the Mexico area should act as a normal chokepoint for AI units and a couple of planes should hold the AI at bay. Also, its highly likely that the AI in South America will follow the same land route up the continent all the time. Mexico could be a shooting gallery LOL.
I'm more worried about the aliens since they HAVE to go by sea to get to any of us . I find those routes much less predictable but in our favor is that we are pretty far north for the aliens to land in force.
All in all I believe we are in great shape and within 15 years we should be ready to be actively searching for the bad guys

Not to worry, Provost. It won't be all that long before you're wishing maybe I didn't have all those juicy Believing bases in the Jungle.

I don't doubt you one bit there. I'm quite the newbie compared to you guys. Still trying to learn the ropes. Heck, I haven't even played an SP game on Transcend through to completion yet. ^^;;;;;

Played a lot of games at Librarian, but never at Trancend. If my development is strong, I've only got Vel's guide and the CivGaming Acadamy to thank for that.

2145 to Q. (I think!)
Did this turn from a different machine. Had to use my email account thru the web, rather than thru outlook, and I'm not altogether sure I got everything right. Please say if you get the turn OK, Qantaga.
Happily, the offensive capability of Morgan Enterprises just doubled when I hit a dimensional rift with my recon rover. Hurrah!!

I don't know if qantaga mentioned this to you folks but he is on some business travel and his turns will be less frequent ( ie he might only play once a day later in the evening). So if you don't see anything from him for several hours, it does not mean that the send from the other machine did not get through.
oh and 2145 was a cloning year as I also got a cloned recon rover.
Archaic
Vels guide and CGN are both excellent sources and I also use them extensively. You should try a game of SP at transcend. Using the tactics in Vel's guide alone, the AI should be a pushover. Once thats conquered, there is the One city challange and a bunch of scenarios. Personally I have pretty much abandoned SP in favor of MP and my current favorite is multi-faction games (controlling 2-3 factions as a team against 1 or 2 human controlled teams) or these tweaked AI games-- Loads of fun. I only wish I had enough time to try some of the newest scenarios out there for SP.

Flubber is correct. I am on a business trip this week, so my turns will be a little slower than normal, but no longer than 24 hours certainly.
Mongoose, the third time was the charm. The turn made it through intact.
2146 to Flubber.

2146 to Q.
Earthquake!! The Great Lakes have been moved a little bit. With the combination of Garland Crater and this earthquake, there now IS no Mississippi River. The Ohio meets the Colorado(?) and apparently, all the water from 2/3 of the continent goes down a hole!
Plasma PT complete next turn. Marr is indeed building The Command.

Announcement
Hive Labs is pleased to announce the discovery of Doctrine: Airpower. It is hoped that this knowledge will be the key to defeating the aliens that are inhabiting our planet.
Hive Industries also announced that its first plane, a laser penetrator, will roll off the production lines in 2149.
=---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok gang I now have a bunch of military tech that others don't. I will send some or all of it next turn. Its useful stuff if attacked but getting it will Kill your tech rate after your next discovery. Note that I need over 1200 Labs will the uni needs only 800. Each of you should let me know precisely which techs you want(commlinks is best) and I will gift them over

Turn received from Q and passed on to archaic (2149)
I also provided requested military techs.
Archaic -- watch out -- there is a large group of worms just east of your most south easterly base- 2 sporelaunchers and 6 worms-- I have rushed a rover in case they come my way --

Sorry about the pod thing. I do not see your boundaries but only see my own since units of ours have not met. I sent a crawler across to hopefully rectify this (wanted to bump into you) and on an impulse I popped the pod. With the swarm I knew the crawler was dead so I self-destructed the crawler but it had no effect. I am sending a couple of rovers to clean up the mess since I am the one that made it.

Oh and qantaga wrote in his email to me as follows
I am sorry that I haven't been posting to the threads
lately, but it just takes forever (if at all) to load 'Poly from a hotel room on this laptop.
If you don't mind, could you put a little note in the thread that I am unable to get to the thread for now and that if anything important comes up to let me know by e-mail or in-game commlink? I should be back to 'Poly when I get home Friday night.

The probe foil is in the vicinity of Indonesia (just south now IIRC)and had spotted nothing to date. I anticipate coming in view of the Australian coast in my next turn (maybe 2). If I spot a base, I will be heading for it immediately. My transport can try further exploration. Right now my only goal is infiltration so people can be warned how close the AI is to key wonders. Sorry to hear about the HGP gang but the VW is pretty awesome for the uni.
Archaic-- how are you making out with the worms?? I killed a bunck but at least a couple went your way .

Brissy's a sort of "nickname" for Brisbane among Australians.
Yes, I suppose you're right, however I would have liked to have had the HGP as well anyway. The Uni needs all the drone control it can get.
The worms slaughtered my former unfortunatly (Just before he was about to mine that rocky mineral bonus too. =/ ), however my base appears safe for now.
