You will get a reload. When I first opened the game nothing would work- my units wouldn't move, my income hadn't come in, no units were completed etc. Very odd. It's happened before in other games & I don't know why.

Well my car was transported to a mechanic this morning & I will hopefully have it tomorrow afternoon. The fuel pump was burnt out. That's the good news. The bad news is that a genuine replacement fuel pump was $1100 AUS....... Ouch! Needless to say the mechanic is going to adapt a different brand for about 20% of the price. Serves me right for buying european I suppose!

Hobbes, while I'm sorry that you are having such major problems with your car, it sounds like you have a very good mechanic. Here in the States, the chances of a mechanic offering to do anything for 20% of the estimate are slim and none.
