map makers
Has anyone got a map of the North Atlantic? Western Europe and the east coast of North & Central America would be perfect.

Martin - what happens if I try to start a game (without apolyton mod) with a map of 210x210 like the omniworld map?

With 210 work fine bit slow maybe but it works

Now 211 is a different story the computer gets the pap’s on and any random map made automatically goes to the flip side

It depends on the kind of the map you whish to load if you you modify the const.txt so that you start with a bigger map than the original one than you don't get a map that you can use for a random game as Big Mc pointed out if you don't modify the map.txt. But if you load a premade map (like the omniworld) from the scenario map save feature or as scenario than it works fine.

I'd be designing a scenario using the omniworld map. So I presume that it'll be ok then?

You may want to check this out too: http://apolyton.net/cgi-bin/ctp2/db/review.cgi?ID=511. And this one: http://apolyton.net/cgi-bin/ctp2/db/review.cgi?ID=596. These two give you the option to create maps of (almost) any size and of any part of the earth very easily, almost automatically.
