Japan has all of the Atlantic, most of China, and a staging point for an assault on Australia.

I will play it tomorrow. I Dled it, played the turn (which took me like a quarter of an hour to assess and move troops for the assaults) and after the end, I accidentally pressed enter: ergo I need to replay it.
BTW, shouldn't it be at prince level? MC started it at King, and Case said that PBEM games on anything but Prince showed strange bugs.

I always play scenarios on the standard option difficulty (in this case it's King), and this is why. The most important aspects that difficulty affects to my knowledge, is unhappiness level and barbarian strength. Now, barbarians don't matter in this scenario, but the happiness does. A good scenario creator (and of course this applies to Nemo) will give the minimum amount of improvements to make sure no cities start in disorder. A balance must be achieved. If there are too many imporvemtns, income will be wacked and you might end with too many entertainers that can be converted to taxmen or scientists, screwing up the balance.

Yes, but I'm talking about important bugs, like the AI changing production and units disappearing type of bugs.

According to FMK and Henrik's PBEM guide, the main problem with playing at levels higher then prince is that the AI tips the odds in combat - so in a king level game, the defender will have a slight advantage.
Given the nature of 2194 Days this shouldn't really be that much of a problem

Führer Celebrates Christmas in Bechtesgaden
News of the great successes of the Wermacht and the Luftwaffe have reached the ears of the Führer and as he communicates the news to the Reich, thousands of Germans pour into the streets to celebrate his strong leadership and brilliant abilities as Wermacht units return home on leave to parade in the streets. The Workers' National Socialist Party held a rally last week in which the Führer proclaimed the greatness of the Reich and its unstoppable war machine as it crushes all foes in Europe and Africa alike. Thousands of Germans proclaimed the wisdom and the strength of the Führer's leadership as they sung patriotic songs and cheered the brave soldiers, the Führer's own boys, fighting heroically against the communist rubbish in Russia.

Moscow Collapses, von Manstein Celebrates Chrismas in Kremlin
Moscow.- After an important shelling of soviet positions outside Moscow by Stukas from the Luftwaffe, II Armee, commanded by General von Manstein, took on the initiative and set out from around Kaliningrad on its impervious advance upon Moscow. Accompanied by several divisions of Stosstruppen and several SS-Infantry divisions, the Germans reached suburban Moscow as December closed in and the hard battle began. Tanks and infantry began the eviction of Russian units in the area and despite the withdrawal of the Luftwaffe on account of important soviet AA emplacements around the city, superior German courage and strength won the day. Seventeen days since the arrival at Moscow, the first German tanks breached the walls of the Kremlin and stormed the houses of the Politburo searching in out in an attempt to capture it. However, German intelligence revealed that it has escaped to Stalingrad before German troops had entered the city.
Meanwhile, von Manstein continued his attack on Soviet positions as they fled from the city and pursued them into the country where the Luftwaffe contributed to the decimation of partisan activity around Moscow. As Christmas drew near, von Manstein prepared an important celebration for his general staff. "All has quietened down, there can't be a single man in Russia left crazy enough to raise a gun againt the Reich" he stated, as shelling erupted in the distance and Luftwaffe fighters flew overhead returning from patrol.
Below, SS-Infantrymen advance upon suburban Moscow.

Leningrad, Stalingrad Collapse, Politburo Captured
Stalingrad.- Seven squadrons of Stukas took off from captured airfields in Kharkov after the battle for Kharkov with one objective: Stalingrad. After hearing the the Politburo had escaped to Stalingrad, Field Marshal von Manstein ordered General von Paulus to gather what forces he could and attack the city and attempt to capture the Politburo.
Spearheading the attack, several hundreds of Stukas took off from airfields in occupied Russia and, despite hardship in taking off due to the cold, they decimated the unprepared soviet garrison which had been taken almost completely by surprise. Working with fallschirmjager brigades and several SS divisions, von Paulus successfully, after heroic fighting, occupied the city. The Politburo was caught quite literally with its pants down, except for Stalin and his closest circle, which fled the city by train shortly before the German attack. The Führer has commented personally on Stalin's 'hit and run' tactics stating that if he continues in this fashion German will happily provide him a raft for the time when he is driven into the Pacific.
Vicious fighting has also taken place in Leningrad, which fell shortly after Moscow as demoralised Russian put aside their weapons to weep for their motherland. Aerial bombardment quickly reduced the garrison of Murmansk completely destroying the city. Meanwhile, the soviet Black Sea fleet in Sevastopol was attacked by the Luftwaffe and completely destroyed, Sevastopol itself falling shortly after to the reinforcements sent to von Paulus which were rerouted to destroy the garrison of Sevastopol. All in all, Stukas have won the day for Germany over the skies of Russia.

Rommel Destroys British 8th Army in El-Alamein
El-Alamein.- After the arrival of General Rommel to Africa to assume command of the newly formed Deutsche Afrika Korps (DAK), the ferrying of troops from Tunis to Tripolitania began. All in all, several panzer divisions were mobilised as well as several DAK units serving in the area. Rommel ordered the immediate advance and within weeks Benghazi had fallen and he arrived in El Alamein. After much fierce fighting, General Rommel evicted the British from the area which quickly retreated towards Alexandria. Immediatelly, Rommel retook the initiative and, in combined operations with the Italian navy and the DAK Luftwaffe, German units began the attack upon Alexandria.
The fighting was fierce, but the German's willpower and strength was never redoubted and the British began to be reduced. Soon, the British defenders, neglected by their high command and short of ammunition and supplies, surrendered and Alexandria capitulated to Rommel. His victories are becoming legendary back at home and his name is revered across the Wermacht and the DAK in general. All in all, he is becoming one of Germany's most revered Generals and the Führer has rewarded him with a promotion to Feldmarschal.
On a slightly more comical note, an episode of comedy was registered by the Berliner Tageblatt's cameras. Feldmarschal Rommel recieved a reconaissance report from an Me-109 stating that a column of British motorised infatry was approaching in number and Rommel ordered his tanks. Withing six hours they engaged the motorised convoy which turned out to be a lost supply convoy headed for British positions that got lost in the desert. All in all, the DAK armoured brigade under Feldmarschal Rommel captured thirty trucks bearing canned fruit and cornedbeef meant for British troops in the front. Rommel himself opened a can in situ and tried the war booty for himself. His only commentary was: "After trying the British infantryman's dinner, my admiration for the Tommy has grown immensely. It is a surprise that they haven's mutinied demanding some real nourishment"
Below, Feldmarschal Rommel samples some "8th Army Cuisine".

I could go all the way to China in one turn if there were no event generated Soviet units. Next time when you decide to use neutral events, think again.

From the desk of the American Military Command:
After the shocking events of December 7th, 1941, the American morale is at an all time low. We lost Midway and Pearl Harbor before we were able to mount any defenses or counterattacks. The month of December was a long hard one for the American people.
In the Pacific, American naval units were able to inflict minimal losses on the Japanese. The navy was able to sink some of the transports that were used in the attacks throughout the Pacific, including others that had not unloaded thier cargo yet. While only a small victory, it should slow the Japanese advance.
In the Atlantic, American naval units sunk two German U-Boats. This should help open up more shipping lanes to aid our Allies in Europe.
On the home front, the American people adjusted to wartime life. Limits were put on gasoline consumption, and it looks like women will be going to work in the military factories. The American economy is still strong, and we are confident we will mount an attack in the coming months.

Feldmaschal Rommel has stated that this retreat from Alexandria is temporary and that the pathetic British tanks and aircraft are no match for the superior DAK and Luftwaffe.
