Rhuarc, most of it is done, but the cities will take me a lot longer than till the end of the week, so which is why I'd like ppl to vote, how many of you would rather wait for the entire thing to finish, or how many would rather I gave you the terrain by the end of the week and the cities later in the next week coming up?
Let me tell you, the cities look They look 10 x better than the originals and are nothing like the screenshot above, especially since the above one is just a quick test to see if it would all work.
Could someone send me the rMIDEAST file found in /Art/Cities/ ? I stuffed it up and then I couldn't get the original file back, and I really don't want to have to reinstall, altho the patch seems to have made civ3 worse, so many crashes..
thanks! and vote! I don't want to decide on this myself

Sn00py, do whatever's easiest for you. I suspect that would be to put in all into one package. That would be fine with me.
Anticipating.

could you submit part of it by this Friday/Saturday?
I lose my net connection then and would love to have part of it for use.
But if no can do, don't worry about it. I will find some way of getting it.

Just take all the time you need to get the whole thing done. Don't feel rushed.

Sn00py, at first I didn't particularly like your graphics...I geeze I better not say that too loud or I might get mugged or something. But after looking at them for the second time about a month after your release of them I absolutely love them, and I can't stand to look at the horrid graphics of Civ3 now. So what are all of the new graphic changes you plan on making? About the same as last time...trees, grasslands/plains, mountains/hills, etc...plus the city tile buildings. Well, whatever it may be I can't wait to see it! Keep up the great work.
P.S. I"m glad that you decided to rejoin the Civ3 scene.

Wow, I like it!! Everything just blends together so wonderfully!!! This is excellent Snoopy!! I can't wait to see some more screenshots of what you have been working on. One question, are you working on making so the roads to get choppy on hills, and that type of graphical error?

Well Snoopy those pines look really cool.
As far as Flood Plains. I live right near some flood plains, I can take pictures if you want. At no point, however, does it ever look like a desert. I don't understand the logic that firaxis used there. Also there are no deserts nearby. The floodplains are more like an area of land between a river and the normal dry terrain. This is in my local area and it may be an exception I don't know. But I can tell you it is very furtile and it is flooded even after a simply rainfall.

I just remembered, I live in Christchurch, this whole city is built on a flood plain!
