As the call for the PBEM "Already There"
http://www.planetacol.com/ubb/Forum4/HTML/000148.html had been such an unexpected success, I got the impression hat there are more who are looking for well balanced PBEM set ups, and so I lke to offer also an other one:
Basing on the map "Terra", downloadable at
http://mitglied.lycos.de/smac/Files/Terra.zip I'll set up a game for SMACX with mixed factions (SMAC/SMACX), if there will join enough (minimum 4, then I also play):
The game will be without fungus, sunspots and such, allowed to join these factions are only:
- Uni
- Hive
- Spartans
- Believers
- Peacekeepers
- Pirates
- Cyborgs
- Drones
- Angels
- Morgan
As there will be 5 human player and 2 AI, the 2 AI I'll select of the untaken after we're 5.
Those who like to join have to name their favorite factions at once and tell a valid email address!
After that, I set up the scenario with balanced recourses, starting points with similar (dis-)advantages, a city size 3, some units which give all similar chance, facton specific tech and energy points.
Then I'll send to all the file to check it and agree (or complain) with the settings, then we'll start.
