Nice map but, one problem
I like the race for the center, build up on each circle build next ship and do all over again, idea behind your map. But what is so major that the center be the major destination that all should seek? You only have uranium thier, which you also have elswhere on the map. If you make a future edition of this map may I suggest making the center ring slightly larger and adding center ring only luxeries and resources. I will grant that you did do this on your larger map with gems, but you can still find the sought after uranium elswhere in the world. (I am a friend of nuclear warfare and paratroopers, much, much fun) Another possible suggestion is that in the center ring is a city surrounded with wheat, hills, iron, and coal. So you have a super iron works city to seek after. I hope you don't mind the sugestions. I always prefer to get back honest opinions on my maps and possible ways to improve one of my ideas, but it doesn't happen that often. However I do try to do unto others as I would like done unto me. ALL IN ALL  good map idea
