Hmm, lets say:
-go to Files section and look those MODs with most pages (in threads)
Some would say that Bliz MOD and Blanacer MOD are best, but I don't like playaing those much (too much MODifications).
So I play my own MOD.

From experience I think that the Balancer mod has the most balanced gameplay, and we are still currently working hard on continueing to improve the game as faras the editor and it's limitations will allow. Granted playing with the Balancer mod is quite a bit different than the original game so keep that in mind.

But he did ask a question politely, I've hear the balancer mod, korn's mod and Vel's mod are all pretty good. Plus the graphics ones are great too TDC.

2 insults in one, quite an effort!!
I would recommend Korns mod for rules changes (alas Vel's mod with no name could not be finished with the current editor)
Also, the graphics mods help you enjoy the game too, like being able to more easily spot strategic / luxury resources or which people are happy / unhappy in your cities.
