culture grouping

i havent played civ 3 for a few months, so i was just wondering, how do you group culturally?
I will start playing again, as soon as i get past my "Invalid PAg fault error" (im working on it :-)

When at the Civ3 main menu, under preferences, it is the 3rd option from the bottom.

you can also enable it by hitting ctrl-p while in a game or clicking on preferences under the button on the upper left of the screen(though this obviously won't take effect until starting a new game)
