Gathering dust on the shelf...
Well maybe it's time to crack Civ3 open again... so time involved though. Hmmm. Apolyton or Civ 3? Choices... choices. Any thoughts out there?

I am a return player. I gave up when 1.16 ruined my day. However 1.17 has brought me back. I'm looking forward to 1.18 and the XP too. The game is getting better. Two steps forward and one back.

I will problably play Civ 3 again when patch 1.18f is out. Untill then it's just a waste of my time, which is scarce anyways.

The AI is even on a deity-level a big joke. E.g it produces 10 modern armors and instantly try to take the same city it has tried for 50 turns or so. I have more than enough time to build a huge army and ran to AI cities first nuking each one of them, capital twice

Well, Civ3 is gathering dust on my shelf, but that's because I haven't opened it yet. I'm still building my new computer, and until that's done I am left scanning the forums here just out of interest.
I'm in some kind of wierd Civ3 Twighlight zone... I can't play Civ3, and I can't join these Apolyton threads because I haven't played the game yet... Hopefully, I'll return for real when I finish up with the new comp.

The next patch holds enough promise to get me playing it again...

Actually, I don't really ever used stacked movement, just isn't in my interests usually. And, i personally haven't noticed other huge improvements. 1.16 was a great leap over... was it 1.08? ... but i thought 1.17 to have a marginal difference.. .but maybe thats just me.
