ACK! Forgot to attach!
And it's about time you took Cairo. I imagine those dummy soldiers sitting there all these months started to rot.

I'm going to be away from the 29th to the 5th. Case, could you handle my turn if it comes up, as you did before? I'll PM the password if so.

I've played the American and British turns, and nothing happened in either.

- We can assume that much of Baku's defenders were supported by Stalingrad, as it was garrisoned by only one division! Baku and Rostov captured.
- To the north, an amphibious operation wrests Denmark from the fascist dogs.
- All Norwegian operations cancelled. It took me this long to realize those cities are on hills!

In a new counteroffensive against the Soviet Army, the Soviet salient was completely smashed and Wermacht forces recaptures Stalingrad and Rostov.
Outside Copenhaguen, the Luftwaffe destroyed various Soviet troops transports and units outside the Danish city.

The US has continued it's troop movements...
British forces have liberated Capetown from the Japanese, and the RAF has destroyed a Japanese army outside Karachi.

Sorry
Tanks and bombers annihilate a full SIX Panther divisions outside Stalingrad. I'm beginning to think Sturmoviks are too strong.

A raid on Hamburg is thrashed by King Tigers, and our troops can do nothing but watch as a new Japanese offensive pushes on to Irkutsk. Things are looking bad guys, where's that second front?
On the bright side, Stalingrad retaken but it was lightly defended.

An unusually quite Japanese turn...
The Irkutsk offensive had to be held off for a while due to administrative problems, only light bombing of the city took place.
Karachi has been bombed again and two Brittish destroyers where sunk off the indian coast.

"No More Inventions" Fuhrer proclaims, Germany Discovers Way of Recycling Books into Tanks
Berlin.- Thousands of people cheered after the Fuhrer proclaimed that 'scientific advancement has reached the peak. No more inventions can be obtained in our glorious Vaterland. Our latest invention is to recycle books into tanks. How is that done? The burnings of all libraries are discovered to yield a profit, which can be used to build tanks. Ingenious, huh? Once again, Albert Speer amazes the crowd with his ever increasing ingenuity. In a special interview with our newspaper, armaments production minister Speer was reportedly 'thrilled by his new ideas in making tanks appear out of nowhere' and is now considering giving classes on 'economic magic 101: money does grow on trees, as long as its in paper'. He is reportedly working on a new books now after the success of the library burnings: 'origami tanks, mostly harmless'. This newspaper reports that the book burning was so bountious that nearly thirty divisions and batteries of tanks, panzergrenadiers and AA are expected to roll off the production lines before the end of the year. Next year, the pilot project on libraries will be taken higher up: Speer intends to burn the Gymnasiums and universtities to the ground. Goering reported "Screw a duck, I never expected culture to be of any use. I am surprised." Right after that, he guzzled down his dinner, bought, his butler reported, by bills that had 'Faust' written all over them.
