The Japanese Government agrees that the method described by the Germana for recycling paper is a very lucrative one, we have been using it to further the war effort for quite a while now

In Russia Irkutsk was seized and the road to the east of it was pillaged, whatever troops that might lurk on the other side of that forest won't be able to strike at the Japanese invadors within the near future

3 Ships where sunk in northern Japan (eastern Russia) by planes (one brittish submarine and two american destroyers).

In Meso-America, Havana has been seized by Japanese troops, the attack was pulled of in an orderly manor, however Japanese troops where astounded by the defencive technology of the B17s parked in thier hangars.
When one of our most experienced imperial battleships bombarded a squadron of landed B17s the shells somehow turned around just before hitting the planes themselves and came flying back at the ship! After a while the confounded crew was able to destroy the planes but not before suffering heavy damages to their ship.
(anyone agree that the B17s has too high defence ratings?)

The fleeing transport who is asumed to have been the one to deliver the troops that invaded was hunted down by a kamikaze pilot and sunk (I took one of the useless planes the AI built me and crashed it into the transport).

The japanese ambassador in Berlin suggests the furher should consider the benefits of paradroping some troops into Brittain in order to destroy some of her industries in a similar manor to the Russians...

I have been doing that already. But remaining industrial complexes are either garrisoned or out of range. I've been doing it whenever I can. GERMANY will always be known as the precursor of the airborne sapper and factory demolition team tactic.

I only spared Moscow because I thought they might hold out. But now with 13 Konigtigers, Russia's in deep shyte.

T-34s smashed outside Rostov. German Panzercommanders were taken by surprise when informed that they had NOT been in a training exercise with dud tanks. They fitted the destruction of the Russian tanks in between lunch and the mid afternoon coffee break.

The burning of universities has been postponed another month.

Copenhaguen recaptured. New loyal SS Panzer Divisions being recruited in Norway so that Scandinavia will be held for once and for all.

The only offensive action taken this turn was the bombing of some minor Soviet millitary installements.

Interestingly enough the brittish reports never even touch the fact that since they started fighting Japan they've lost several battleships and so far they haven't killed a single one of mine

JAPANESE FORCES SACK WASHINGTON!

In an extremely bold but effective manouver, Japanese troops where landed south of Washington, then in a joint attack the Japanese Imperial airforce and army was able to overrun the light defences of Washington DC and sack the city.
While there are no question about the fact that these troops will be quite unable to hold the city (in fact they have allready evacuated it), significant destruction has taken place there, nothing remains of the industrial or commercial districts of the city as these where targeted in bombing raids and by artillery fire as the city was attacked.
Furthermore the city of Atlanta has also been similarly sacked by Japanese troops, the objective, apart from dealing a big blow to American prestige, has been to make sure that these cities won't be able to churn out more fighting units in a long while.
Japanese imperial marines has also destroyed several industries in the countryside and in Washington's outskirts, it is believed rebuilding these industrial complexes will be most costly and will also take a great deal of time.

This has been a great victory for the Empire!

In other news an american B17 was shot down off the Russian coast, and Russian siberia was bombed by the Japanese airforce.

A battleship which previously bombarded the city of Perth has been sunk by Japanese bombers of the coast of Australia.

A minor brittish invassion of Ceylon has been undertaken, and it is expected that Brittish troops make landings in Japanese held territory within short, however the Japanese headquarters are certain that our forces will have no problem repelling the Brittish invadors.
In a preemptive measure the island has allready been bombed by a small contignent of planes.

Japanese raid fully repulsed. Havana is under full attack and is expected to fall. 2 superbattlehips and numerous other ships were sunk in port!!

American Forces have started the invasion of France by capturing Brest. The Americans plan to hold on and push deeper into europe if possible.
