AAs have one move in my rules file
Still I could've sworn I redownloaded the files just before playing my first turn (THE first turn in this pbem)...

My first child will be named Xin!
FMK, I hope this is OK - Xin's Lazy Civ3 has enabled me to play my turn with my original production, so I'm taking this opportunity to do so before you play your turn

President Has a Really Bad Dream
White House insiders have confirmed that President Roosevelt has been suffering bad dreams of late. Speaking to reporters, the beloved Secutary of Industry mentioned that "last night the President dreamed that my old bosses at GM had blackmailed me into changing war production from tanks to trucks!". Experts put the President's aliment down to the considerable stress that he's under.
USAAC Sinks Japanese Flat Top!
The USAAC has extracted some revenge for Pearl Harbour by sinking the Japanese aircraft carrier Shoho. An Air Corps spokesman has stated that the Japanese carrier fell victim to B-17s flying out of a base on the West Coast.

As stated in other topics I will be leaving for Greece on friday (and I will stay there one week) can we put the game on hold during that time (my guess is it won't be that noticable ) as each and every turn in this game is so decisive, I'd apreciate it if we could.
If you want I can get a sub though.

I'd love to take Mother Russia if that is all right. Damn near a half dozen civfan games died due to disappearances and cheaters all in the last month (12 year olds indeed, FMK), so I've gained a bit of time to join some new games, and preferably at Apolyton for that matter.

Yeah he did, but it'll be awhile anyway. As I am posting everywhere, I'm going to be gone until at least the 20th, possibly even longer. It's a very long story. As it includes my not having access to the internet except for this 10-minute library sliver, I don't have time to arrange subs this time. Sorry, but I'll try to make the wait as short as possible.
Since I just started here I guess you could have one of the allied players do it, but I won't have time to brief them on my plans, not to mention that every turn counts in this scenario.

Don't worry, this game will get going sometime.
Good news, it turns out I'll have my new college access to at least talk, but still no turns.

All right, I'm playing the turn, but I have to ask something: if AA batteries have a movement value of 0, then why are they scattered all over the place near my cities? I've seen this phenomenon on this thread, on a different 2194 PBEM, and now I'm seeing it for myself. Have we just agreed to leave it as is or something?

Ok, but you all know that this means goodbye Russia. Then again it looks like they're going to lose anyway, so I'll just make do.
