Here the revolution is initially sucessful in central Russia. In Ukraine, Bolsheviks, Ukrainian nationalists and Whites fight it out. Meanwhile the Germans and Austro-Hungarians wait for the disorder and desertion to spread....

This looks fantastic Techumseh! I was a huge fan of your original Russian Civil War scenario and am really looking forward to this one. The fact that I'm willing to start up ToT again (which I haven't touched since playing William Keenan's Necrociv almost half-a-year ago) says it all.
So, how long more until it's release?

I'm going to be releasing it over the next 1-2 weeks, in segments.

No, because I have lots of the large graphics fiiles done and ready to be downloaded now, but I've just wrapped up playtesting and need to make some last minute adjustments and add the final touches (like writing a Readme!) before I can release the actual 'core' files. BTW, you can now download the intro AVI file on the thread " the Revolution is Near."

Even though ToT has more potential as a scenario platform, there is a shortage of historical scenarios. I wanted to make one which 'pushed the envelope' of it's capabilities a bit, to show what it could do.
I don't think it's possible to convert backwards from ToT. The events wouldn't work for one thing, even if you created multiple events files. You'd be short 18 unit slots. The armoured trains wouldn't stay on the tracks. And so on...
You'll just have to find ToT on Ebay or in the bargain bin. There's the pity.

Last minute fiddling aside, Red October is just about ready. I'd hoped to get it posted by this weekend, but that now seems impossible. For those who are anxiously awaiting the release, here are some new infantry units from the scenario.
They are: 1. American "Polar Bear" infantry, 2. German Sturmtruppen, 3. Latvian infantry, 4. South Russian (White) infantry, 5. Ukranian Rada infantry, 6. Japanese infantry.

Here's some of the cavalry units. They are: 1. Japanese cavalry, 2. German uhlans, 3. French cuirassiers, 4. Czech Legion cavalry, 5. Austro-Hungarian dragoons, 6. Red "Konarmya" cavalry. Of these, the French and Austro-Hungarian are 1914 uniforms and aren't accurate for the civil war period. Does anyone have any images more appropriate for the 1917-20 period?
