"Culture" Option for CTP2??
After I have played Civ1, Civ2, Civ2-tot, Civ2-mge, CTP, CTP2 and Civ3 I relized that IMO CTP2 is the best Civ Game! Civ3 is not a bad game, but this is not what I expected :-(

Well, now my question to all slic programmer experts: Is it possible to integrated something similiar like the culture aspect of civ3 into ctp2? For example, is it possible to build in the option that if you found a city near a highly developped city there is a possibility that this little city joins the opponent nation.

As far as i remember when the idea of a civ3 mod was been discussed too.

Yes, it was discussed before, several times actually. What it comes down to is that it can't explicitly model culture since we can't really add a culture value to a city and display in in the city screens or anything (like with production or science points). You could implicitly model things like growing borders and cities changing owner, but you'd have to find indirect ways of showing to the player where culture is strong and where it is weak. I think/hope the religion concept of the upcoming HoC mod will sort of serve as a substitute for culture as well (though many details still need to be worked out).
