Liberation of Brest
Brest was once a beautiful port town, but has now become little more than a pile of rubble after constant shelling from ship and field cannon. It is now a symbol to the French people that they will not tolerate English invasion and are willing to put up a fight! French troops liberated the town for the second time in as many months this week, the joy in the faces of the populous was clear and many of them speak of terrible atrocities commited by British troops stationed there.
In an unusual move the acting French Emporer, Marshall Néy, sent envoies to the British parliament saying that any further fighting over Brest would surley obliterate the city and that would leave neither of the two nations satisfied. He hopes to avoid any further conflict in the area.
Munich Captured
Munich, the pride of Bavaria was been capured by advancing French forces just 3 days ago. The people of Bavaria have little intrest in this development however, they dislike the French as much as their own ineffective monarchy. The Prince of Baden has been granted a symbolic role as the head of the state in exchange for Bavarian troops in L'Grande Armee.
On a side note, the behaviour of the victorious French troops was, suprisingly, impeccable. Only two infantrymen went out of line, both of these humiliated privates will face a court marshall and will most likley be dissmised.
More Naval Skirmishes
More minor operations took place in both the Atalntic and the Mediterranean. Ships on both sides were sunk, though reports say that the English suffered heavier losses including ships of the line whilst only a sole French frigate was sunk.

HAMBURG TAKEN!!! GERMAN PEOPLE UNITED AT LAST!!!
Today the victorious forces of Prussia have, in three months, managed to unite the germanic peoples of europe into one empire. The taking of Hamburg is the last step of this lofty goal and surely William III will go down as our greatest monarch. Frederick sent a message to the french saying that because of the circumstances the prussians were forced to take hamburg on their way to kobenhaven. He wishes to discuss a time when we can cede the city to you to keep the treaty between our nations intact.
KRONSTADT MAKES PREPERATIONS FOR WELCOMING PARTY!!!
Local militia units have made extensive preperations for a welcoming party to welcome the new russian occupants, these 'improvements' include the digging up of all roads leading to kronstadt. This is so the locals can give a guided tour of the countryside to the russian troops. Also newly raised army units moved into kronstadt to help with the welcome. The city defenses were improved as well. But the city is open for occupation...
(like to see you get past this russia, we will not be subject to intimidation!!!)
Save attached, and the new map is coming, see if its to your satisfaction everyone

Okay I had a long post all written up and when I tried to post it my God Damn computer froze up for some reason. It was weird because it never freezes up on Apolyton.
Here is the run down: Milan, Florence, and Genoa have been taken; and Munchen has been liberated. Austria does not see the importance of the Pipyet Marshland, but if Russia feels it is important to their security we will stand behind them.

Sorry I couldn't give you all a better game, I had never even played the scen SP before I joined this, probably didn't help .
