City Names
Thats right i'm doing my events.... when i want to do city taken and then i write in the name it says amsterdam not found, use it anyway. But i can see amsterdam right in front of me.... so whats the deal will it still work? or wont it? Its pissing my off... I cant do an events for amsterdam, brussels, or verdun....
So whats happening?

Post what you wrote for the events here. Maybe you misspelled or added something that isn't supposed to be there

But I just go ahead and use it anyway. The program will find it unless you screwed up the spelling.

I wouldnt use the editor to make the events. I just dont like it. It is much easier to find examples and 'steal' them from other scenarios. Cut and Paste them into your events.txt and simply change the location numbers and city names, civ names etc etc.
I have also heard that the editor will screw things up for you, maybe this is what it is doing here.

What shall i do, coz morton have me a events file tempplate to help, but i'm not good at it, i tried to make it, but when i loaded the game up it said the msg, with your events have a problem, debug them?

Debugging doesn't work on MGE.
You actually have to go through adding events in one by one in order to see where exactly the error is, then keep checking with the game. Add in another, check with game, and so forth.
Pain in the arse, but thats how I do it.
