Printout of Trade Routes/Commodities
I took a quick look at the volumes that have been written about Trade, and I didn't see a suggestion about being able to print a list of all available trade routes and goods (pardon me if this has been suggested and hashed before). In the Civ2 Forum a thread asking what is the most annoying aspect about Civ2, and several of us said the Trade window. It would be VERY nice to be able to periodically printout a list of who needs what.

It's a good idea, but what about also including the information in a menu (with the print button at the bottom) so those of us who don't want to waste paper don't have to.

I join the choir! I really like this idea! But you should be able to, as Biddles said, not print and see all the information on the screen!

Another thing is what Firaxis decides...

I am not sure I understand this proposal. I am in favor of overhauling the trade system and it would be my belief that you would have some menu where your nation trades commodities it needs with commodities it does not need. In this way you would not need to see what each city demands because your entire nation would try to fufil this foreign trade.

In between each turn or whenever you went to your trade menu you would set how much you are willing to sell of an item and how much your country wants to buy.

I just am confused by no matter what system is employed why printouts will be necessary.
