Are you addicted to Apolyton?
For many of us Apolytoners, Apolyton may seem like the only world we live in. Though some us know when it's time to get back to the real world. Some of us are addicted, but think we have full control and can quit at anytime. Still, some of us are not addicted now but will be in the future. And of course some us prefer bananas over Apolyton.

<--- Quote by Former U.S. President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt
"And there will be strange events in the skies--signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And down here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. The courage of many people will falter because of the fearful fate they see coming upon the earth, because the stability of the very heavens will be broken up. Then everyone will see the Son of Man arrive on the clouds with power and great glory. So when all these things begin to happen, stand straight and look up, for your salvation is near!" --Luke 21:25-28
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. --1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

Wow, none of the kings and up are posting in this thread. That might skew the results.

Once I realized I was constantly keeping multiple browser windows open to Apolyton forums -- at work -- I knew I had a problem.
Let's see, I quit smoking via hypnotism...
*"You are getting sleepy.... so sleeeepy..... Now.... take your hand.... move it toward your mouse.... Yeeessss, that's it....... Now, slowwwwly....... click........ on...... Unsubscribe............ Yeeessssss, verrrry gooood. Now, when I clap my hands, you will awake......... feeling very refreshed....... and go back to work....... Rememmmber........ Apolyton is sloowww...... It doesn't love you........ Come back, back to the Real World..... Ready? (*claps hands*) WAKE UP!!"
Whew, glad that's over! Now, I'll just check the strat forum one last time, then I'm outta here... yeah...

I can be off for several days if I must - without side effects, mind you.
I was addicted very much before Princehood - and when I saw that King was pretty reasonably close, I spammed - I mean, participated my way up here, but Emperor would require two years of devoting, so that came to an end.

well I have completely neglected computer games for this place. I hardly play computer games any more. I just can't find the time.
But I still do have a life sort of. I don't post here hardly at all on weekends. I really only post Monday night through thursday night. Sometimes on sunday nights.
But when I'm on my computer I usually post here, but I don't even turn my computer on on the weekend. I don't check my e mail or anything. So consequently I don't post here. But I post here so much sometimes, I don't have time to play games.

Ah yes. There's never enough time anymore for all those cool addictions. Had I known life would be like this when I was younger, I would've wasted my time more efficiently!

Yes. Totally. Completely. I neglect my duties at work just to post on 'Poly; I make copies of the threads I'm interested in to read whenever I'm not connected to the net. Once I threatened my wife with a fork because she wanted to use my computer while I was on Apolyton. I need medical treatment. Somebody help me, please!
Ok, so it is not like this (forget about the fork thing) but I find rather difficult not to visit Apolyton at least once everyday. But I do not always post.
