Post Good Civ3 Web Sites Here!
I think the day will soon be coming when more and more people will make their own Civ3 sites. Or certainly other sites will beef up their coverage and want Apolyton to know about it. It would be nice if these notifications could be somehow organized into one thread so we all know where to look/post such for such things.
This, I believe, is more satisfying a solution than my simply moving threads around, etc. So in honor of having his thread locked by me a few days ago, I shall announce alex369's site:

I'm not looking for traffic for my site, i just thought some of you ppl want to visit a new civ site with a small community. thanks, no dull coments plz. http://civ.u4l.com/

Congratulations, alex. Please everbody check out his site and report back here if you like to share what you think about it.
Now, it might even be a fun project if we Apolytoners were to scour the Internet locating Civ3 sites and rating them right here, from 1 to 20. That could be rather fun and perhaps educational, especially if we provide a brief review of the sites. Anybody up for it? I'll start with just two sites.
#1. Apolyton (of course, if there's any competition) Always has the latest news, an active forum, and exclusives on Civ development directly from Firaxis. (More comments about Apolyton?)
#2. Alex 369's site, "Civmedia" http://civ.u4l.com/ A small but growing site with News, Forums, Chat and Clans. The graphics are simple but efficient. Give it a visit.
#3-20 Of course, #1 and #2 spots can still be debated, along with #3-20.

eeeer dont mean to ruin your idea, but we already have a place for listing, rating and reviewing civ3 sites. this one:
http://apolyton.net/links/Civilization_III/
you see it's really simple:
if someone wants to discuss civ3, he can go to the civ3 forum
if he wants to announce his site to the community, he can do so in the community forum or ask us to post news about it
and if he wants to find other site he can go the links pages
let's not put all of the above in one place cause then we will have chaos
so, if you dont mind i'll de-top this....

Well, folks. There you have it. Word from the Apolyton Gods. I shall refer you all to this ruling in the future when other threads are locked and moved. Should be clear enough now.
And people who don't like this policy should NOT direct criticism at me, since, as you see, this is an Apolyton policy. Not a Yin policy.
Thank you and goodnight.
Yin

LOL Well, I try to keep the masses happy. But this moderating gig doesn't give me omnipotent power. Otherwise I would have ordered a perfect Civ3 to be released last week...

LOL! Well, thank you, sir. And in return, I shall lock and move this thread to the community section. Hopefully things will be quiet for a while...
