What I lost between the turns:
16 I Conscripts
2 Cavalry
2 Battleships (ouch!)
3 Cruisers
1 Marine
and... a few cities...
I was barely able to retake Milano and destroy a few french units before I had to make peace with France!
But I'll find a way to destroy the bloody frog-eaters...
And the save:

Britain attacks Germany for no apparent reason, gains a city, house backstabs us, signs treaty.
I can't declare war!!!! How do you circumvent the restrictions of democracy?

Galvatron, may I point out the fact that the Germans attacked ME, and that nearly my entire territory was conquered.
So I'm not the aggressor here...

You know it's one thing to start a game with it, but is this really your favorite scenario? Even after the other game failed and this one is about to?

No, I just wrote it to start another fight with Exile He is such a nice guy, all you have to do is: say that you like another scen more than his and he immediately tries to ripe your head off I like him.
No seriously, perhaps this scen may really be a little bit unbalanced. The stats are too high and there are too many units at the beginning. I didn't noticed it in single-play as I'm having a good time playing it and as you all are such Civ II-wiz why don't you correct it and release a new version? Especially you Darius, you are around almost everywhere in this forum and I think you could do a perfect game from this template in 20 minutes. How about it? Reduce some stats, balance the units and that's it.
The graphics are great, the terrain, the units and of course the choice of civs. I still think that Spain should not appear in a 20th century-game. They were great in the past but have little till no influence in the world today. But it's just my opinion.

Well, if I lowered all the unit stats what would I have? AGE OF WAR!!! They're almost identical except for too many units, too strong of units, and an AH instead of Spain.

The graphics are what made me like it at first, but when the scenario turned out not to be viable, I gave up on it. Btw, why don't you just edit the graphics in AoW? Almost all of the players in the AoW games have their own custom graphics files. Why don't you just copy the History graphics you love so much over to AoW, and your problem is solved, duh.

Well what a coincidence, I don't think that Austria-Hungary should appear in a 20th century game. They were great in the past but had little to no influence in the world around 1900.

Since I'm such a nice guy, I cooked up some graphics for you. Just play Age of War with these History graphics for a while, maybe you'll like it.

The Turkish Republic has cast its lot against the alliance of boredom since they seem so willing to sacrifice the grand Turkish Republic.
We now consider ourselves allies of Britain, Italy, Russia and the Austrian Empire in their struggle against the alliance of boredom.
Trade techs with us and sign the official alliance at your convenience.

I have a question for you all. You are all speaking about the fact that the scen is unbalanced, but I can't even kill a single German inf. with a canon if it's fortified. (not even in the open )
Could you guys please tell if your unit-stats are the same as mine?
R Conscripts 5/4
Cavalery 8/3
Field artillery 9/1
Because you guys are conquering at warpspeed, and I can't even destroy a single inf. in a fortress.

That's because your units were non-veterans in unwalled cities, while my units are veterans in fortresses.

Liberated the cities of Brest-Litovsk, Lublin, Zhitomir, Kharkov, Smolensk, Odessa and Kishinev, losing about 2/3 of my army. We ask our alliance members to quickly send reīnforcements to Russia. We will not hold out without them.
(especially Turkey and Britain, since you don't border France or Germany. Could you please gift some units?????)

Looking at the cities you took and the placement of my troops in my savegame, there won't be a Russia after my turn to gift units to!

Well, the rest of the cities I couldn't reach because Minsk and Kiev were guarded by City-walls, and I couldn't get the units to them ...
