Operation “No one is invincible”
The year 1924 looked bad for the Turkish Republic, not hopeless but bad. The Austrian Empire had stabbed them in the back but had decided to stab them in three directions, the French front, the Russian front and against Turkey Proper. And with the Italian’s opening a front of their own on the Austrians let the Austrians like the Turkish stretched militarily and fighting a relatively limited war on all four fronts.
This was to the Turkish Republic’s advantage, as not only did this give them room to maneuver but it also allowed them to use their greatest strengths to their advantage, namely the ability to move at least 8 divisions anywhere in the Turkish empire and the fact that 95% of all units are veteran fighters (85(Turkish) units vs 72 at the beginning of 1924.)
It was this year that the Turkish republic was to strike back it was this year that a brilliant plan was hatched.
What was to start as a simple plan to raid Austrian cities turned in to the plan of revenge. Intelligence noticed a number of cities that were unguarded in former Germany and plans were made to raid these cities however as the plans were made to go around Berlin and the path was set to raid these cities something else was noticed: The Turkish armies would come within 2 cities of Vienna. The high command must have stared at the path to Vienna for at least 5 minutes wondering what kind of defense, how many Machine gunners would they have to over come and then on the other hand, why would the center of the empire be strong, would not most of the high tech defenses be trying to hold on to the frontier. No one was considered a threat to Austria; they were over optimistic thinking we were done for. The donut defense could be in place by the Austrians.
The Turkish high command decided to risk it and if it proved to be to difficult they could pull back and reinforce for another day. They put together a massive war plan, a plan that consisted of nearly 60+ divisions, massive troop movements, a total war.
PHASE I:
Troops poured from Russia after taking care of the pesky engineer that had taken all those nice one sized cities, no serious opposition was encountered in all 3 conscripts and 1 machine-gunner, and one engineer were destroyed. Cities conquered: Hamburg, Bremem, Magdeburg(destroyed) Erfurt, Amberg, Ulm and then the road to Vienna began: Regensburg (1 conscript), Passau (1 engineer) and finally Vienna (1 MG 2Conscript) also the city of Tanis and Salzburg were taken.
Austria’s government fled to Berlin.
PHASE II:
After the initial phase was complete the remaining divisions in Turkey proper lashed out taking back Turkey and taking a good deal of the Balkans.
PHASE III:
The remaining divisions in France reunited that country pushing the Austrians back to the German lines.
Russian Turn: The first use of new technology by the Russian Army; a few cities conquered.
Now was that overly dramatic or what.
Shouldn’t of held back CivFan should of used everything in your disposal to knock out Turkey proper the first time.

In a show of faith to their GOD, The Austrian people abandon much of Austria and take up arms in Berlin and their new capital Prague.
The GOD of the Austrians pledges his blood in the final showdown with the world. Not wanting to be remembered for war, Civfan, GOD of Austria, releases a thousand white doves. His people cheer. As Civfan, GOD of all Austria raises his glass of red wine, the peoples of Austrians raise there class of red wine as well.
"My people, let this day be remembered."
In a final act of faith, the God of the Austrians drinks the red wine, knowing to well the posion inside the glass.
Millions of Austrians watching from the streets of the new palace take a long drink of their wine, not knowing their taking part in the largest suicide of people in history.
MESSAGE TO THE WORLD:
- The spirit of Austria is at Berlin and Prague.
- Come and break it!

Since pretty much all of Europe is destroyed, looted or burned. I was thinking this game is pretty much over. Just wondering if you all wanted to continue the game. Or just call it now.
Also I am off to Mardi Gras for the next few days so I will play my turn when I get back, if we are going to play.

Italy's Revenge!
The once again mighty italian armies, led by King Romero, swept over the remnants of the Austrian cities like the Scourge of God...
The cities of Split, Sarajevo, Zagreb, Timisoara, Szeged, Budapest, Pressburg, Cluj, Bistrita and Bucharest fell!!
And an austrian submarine was sunk in the Adriatic...
The Austrian might seems broken for good!!
But what will now happen to Europe??
And he save:
OOC: enjoy Mardi-Gras, Prometheus! We celebrate it in our area too, under the name of "Carnaval"!! You can bet I'll have a few drinks to the health of all my fellow "historians"!!
Even to the treacherous austrians and french!

So... what will happen to Europe? Will the Commonwealth, the Reich, and Italy attempt to counter the lone superpower? Will France or Germany be given autonomy? Should we all just have a go at Turkey right now?
Turkey's cities are razed and many empty, Austria smucked 'em pretty bad, Germany still dominates the northern coasts, and Italy still has a productive city or two. I say we go for it...

Austria has three cities left; her spirit has been broken.
Republic was given to The Commonwealth.
The Turkish Republic has announced that it will honor all its agreements and will not attack anyone unless attacked first. (even Germany as we recognized the Anglo Reich)
Also Preparations are being made for the peaceful return of all cities that belonged to Italy and Russia.
After so long at war the Turkish people want peace…. A new century of peace for Europe. We suggest we form a league of nations to make sure this never happens again.

Germany has decided to take Turkey up on its offer of peace. Let us rebuild Europe, and open up a new era of prosperity. Perhaps in time autonomy for France and Germany could be in order...

Problem!
Darius, I have a problem with your save!
My password seems to have been changed between the Russian turn (after which I could play my turn) and the German one (where I can't access my country because of an incorrect password!).
I suppose your save is corrupted, can you check that and repost it please?

With the war over the Turkish Government continues to reorganize the Republic.
In other News… Most of the Russian Cities under direct Turkish Military rule have been transferred to a joint Turkish Military Russian Civilian rule, it is expected that once a Russian Government forms (i.e. once we find someone to take Russia) Russian Civilian Rule will fully take over.
It is expected that later this year those cities liberated on the Italian peninsula will be handed over to the Italian Government. (I think I gave you republic a while ago)
Russia’s Turn,
1 of the remaining Austrian cities was conquered.

Thanks to the generosity of our turkish brothers, the italian home soil is now nearly whole! only 1 city remains in english hands!
The italian government is currently looking for:
1) a way to repay the ottoman republic for their generosity
2)1 or 2 cities that could be given to the English in exchange for Taranto!
And the save:

Anyway, after tonight there won't be any Austria-Hungary to return to...
