The Italian Army peacefully retook the city of Taranto!
As the current british government is unreliable, the island of Malta was considered a major threat for the trade between Africa and Italy if in british hands. The italian navy deployed and took the lightly defended fortress...
If the British are willing to sign a peace treaty, the Italian Army will stop its operations right now, as the 2 thorns in the italian side have been removed...
And the save:

Well I doubt anyone would want to take over Russia's ashes, so should we just leave it to the AI?

Looking at the results of the last war, I think any of us can see the folly of having railroads' unlimited movement in a PBEM, especially with this scenario. All of the Age of War games are either using a no-RR version, or are in the process of having their railroads removed, and I was wondering if we could have them removed here. Thoughts?

You can make RR 1/3rd if you want, doesn't bother me, Freights will just take forever.
Step 1 of Reconstruction is almost complete.

The Italian Kingdom is in turmoil, as the gorvernment struggles to keep some order...
In other words: Isn't this an OEDO year?? I thought so and that's why I revolted last year, but... I couldn't change my government!! So I started a SP game, and this confirmed my thought that I should have been able to change government!!
No need to say this makes quite a mess!
Is this a bug or am I mistaken??
