Darius: I'll try to find the time to check my money before I leave, so that you have 5 days to fix a price...
VB is so much better than EksEksEksEks...
But of course Coopers rules...

You in a hurry for some specific reason?

Scott my friend, you're joking right ?
It's been your turn for allmost 2 weeks now. I'm not in a hurry, but at the current rate it will be july before it's my turn again. And that is way too long

I'm really sorry to say this, but if this game doesnt move forward soon i'm gonna have to let someone else play instead of me. Its just so fustrating to watch the game grind to a halt, and every day log on and confirm there is nothing wrong with the notification system because nothing is happening.

The glacial pace of communication is indeed frustrating.
As a side matter, with no offense to Darius, I would appreciate it if Soundwave went forward with the upcoming Austro-Hungarian turn, as he seems effectively back now, and he is who I have conducted the most diplomacy with (Darius never shows up on ICQ).

Look I know you like to get an answer before you play, but in many of the PBEMs I've been in, we do negotiations while the game is in progress and if it doesn't happen one turn, it happens the next. What can really be that important to get negotiations for?

Fine by me if he is able now. I never use ICQ and never will, soo if you need lightning-quick answers then by all means. I've always found the thread and PM's sufficient. For that matter, due to the nature of my work I almost always have my AOL on and therefore my e-mail allows me to respond to a PM within a few hours of when you send one, if not five minutes.

I guess my "ultimatum" didnt help getting the game going again. Too bad really, since the game had such a good start. Since there is seemingly no interest in this scenario anymore i will move on to other PBEM games.
The lack of interest is really disappointing, because you guys seemed commited to the game at first.

Well, don't blame everyone, it's still Scott's turn as it has been. I say damn the negotiations, just get this going. Also, just because Soundwave's posting that doesn't mean he's able to play. He said himself that he's posting from a library computer because he isn't completely finished moving, so I think he still can't play yet. How long are you willing to delay this game just because you're waiting for communication to finish?

Look, Sas, don't go. Everyone, we have to make sure this game moves. Scott: for the love of God, just post the turn we can always work things out later!

I have to make an ultimatum myself. Three weeks is crazy, that's just too long. So now Scott, you have 48 hours to give in your turn or out of respect for keeping the game moving you should step down for someone else.

Hmm to start the debate, i'm with sas, i cant play my turns for 2 weeks know as the 'living arrangements' have changed, so in others words, no war till i get back, which i think everyone is thinking, please. Scott i'm sorry but there are house rules you play your turn or you turn it over to someone esle.
I can believe i left NZ and you guys are no further than when i left, and sas i thought you would of kept everyone moving

I have to agree: please play your turn: the "final arrangements" and negociations can be finished afterwards!!
That's what I am doing, anyway...
So please, play: I want the game to go on!!
And to SAS: don't quit yet !!!

My only question is what the hell are these "arrangements", and what could they contain that they would take so long? Or who is taking so long to respond to you?

The Germany has concluded an alliance with Great Britain. At a ceremony in London, German Imperial Chancellor and Foreign Secretary Berhard von Bulow signed the alliance treaty with the British Prime Minister, heralding a new era of Anglo-German cooperation for world peace.

Late turn...
After long and really difficult negocations with the Austro-Hungarian Empire (the difficulty coming from technical problems, the state of the telegraphic connection between Roma and Wien being quite poor...), Lybia has been selled to the Italian Empire were they'll form, with the cities conquered a few month ago, a new Province of the Empire...
OOC: Darius, thanks for your patience, it was not easy but we made it!!!
and SAS (and all the others!!): thanks for your patience as well, I'm late but at last it's done
And here is the save:

Just so you know, guys, I noticed that it's Russia's turn, and pap's left all his games in the last weeks. Do we already have a replacement for him, or do we need one?
