Ok, now the arrangement was that I would take sas' place in any games where we cannot find someone to fill in for him. The problem is that he is the Soviets in this game, which could bring a conflict of interest. I would try to be objective though, and of course the Minor Axis and Soviets aren't at war. So if no one offers to play the soviets until he gets back, should I play them or should we wait?

Damn, just when things are looking up...
Maybe you could do it since you're allies.

Two and a half weeks, so we have to have subs unless you seriously want to wait.

Ok, today I'm going around trying to find subs for all my games as I will also be gone for three weeks, from Thursday, June 20 to Thursday, July 11 to be precise. I am going to put up threads here and at Apolyton to hunt for subs, but before I do so I'm going to all of the games in which my civs have allies and asking whether my allied player would be willing to do my turns while I'm gone. Would you do the Minor Axis turns in this one, IM? Reply soon as I need to put up those sub-hunt threads soon.

All right, I'm just announcing officially on all my threads that I am gone (going out the door right after this), so IM you can start doing the Minor Axis turns after this point. I won't be able to play turns or anything, but I'm sure here and there I can get a few minutes of access to keep in touch and give subs any help I can. Bye all!

The Soviet Union welcomes the peacefull relations with Germany, but the USSR is conserned about the situation in France. Our British/French friends losses is not taken lightly by the Soviet People.

Another quick turn, and Italian forces in southern France have been destroyed as they refused to retreat. In the north, the Maginot line has been strengthened, and aid from Britain is ensuring the safety of Paris.

Oh I know this state very well. Therefore I have an advice for you: don't go out and play CivII afterwards. Considering my condition yesterday I doubt that I would have been able to even open CivII much less post anything
Well thx to the perfect cooperation between the Axis powers we accomplished a glorious victory in destroying the Carrier at El Alamein. The commander of the sub was immediately promoted. We assume that this carrier was a major stone in an allied campaign in Africa. Now after we destroyed it we think that Allied forces suffered a major setback in this area.

Interesting game. Seems Italy may become the first of equals in the Axis coalition.
Can someone post the MAP please?

Sorry about the delay but here it is.
The main goal of the allies now has become to reinforce our friends in France, meanwhile we urge our Soviet friends to step into the war and destroy the nazi scum

Ok here I'm again
Well I think there is no need to push the Sovjetunion in a conflict with Germany. This is just warmongering and in my opinion the Russians are an independent state and they can decide on their own when they want to fight whom. When the Union is tired to be pushed around by the Allies like Germany or Italy than they can talk with us we understand how it feels when everybody think they can command you and rule the country for you. We are always open for our Russian friends. From the Axis with love

At the momen, the Soviet Union wishes to remain neutral in the conflict, but the Red Army is ever watching and remaining on alert.

Zurich captured by Germans!
Yes, the expected attack on Switzerland has finally come about. The Germans have realised the futility of attacking France through Belgium, and seeing the invincibility of the defences around Strasbourg, have decided to circumvent them, through yet another neutral nation. This shows us that Germany truly cannot be trusted to respect neutral nations' sovereignty, and we call for neutral nations around the world to band together in order to help us fight our mutual enemy.
In other news:
Italian forces withdraw from France,
Saloniki repells Italian attack,
Greece secured against future Axis aggression.

The German Reichstag would like to clarify the statement from France. We did in no way ignore the Swiss neutrality on the contrary Switzerland contacted us as they feared the Allies could use them as a jumppoint to invade Germany as the Swiss defence was very poor they asked us if we could take over the defence till this crisis is settled. Of course we agreed and to prove this a treaty was formed so every government which is interested could ask the German Reichstag and we will send a copy to you. In this treaty the Swiss grant us full troop-movement through their territory but with the rightful Swiss government full in charge we've made no amendment. We would like to warn foreign countries to stay away from Switzerland and respect their decision as we are ready to defend it till the last man. Hope we could show our friends in Russia the correct situation and of course nullify the ridiculous propaganda from France. Once again they tried to show to world how "evil" Germany is and we are nothing else like ruthless conquerors but once again we proof them wrong.
