New Patch for CTP2?!!?!?!?!
Did I read Markos "Anouncement" thread wrong, or is there supposed to be a 1.21f patch for CTP2?
Thanks,
David

You mean for this overprized civ clone? ...
But you are right a decent patch for CTP2 would be a nice addition.

Be careful, the only civ clone around is your beloved CtP2 . Even CtP the first had the name Civilization. And as to overpriced, it's neither cheaper nor more expensive than every other new game. CivCtP and CtP2 had about the same price, when they were new. And CtP2 wasn't even a game, only you modders have made it a game.

Actual I bought CTP2 for 80 or 90 DM and not for 100 DM no new game cost 100 DM like Civ3 so I saw it yesterday for 50 Euro again so no price reduction for a six month old game with more than two patches out. I mean for such a price I expect a game that don't need any patches and is perfect and nothing below.

I don't know where you're buying your games, but I paid 79 DM for CivIII. That's not too much, and I got my moneys worth.

That is good prize for a new game. And I am shure that I would get Civ3 for such a prize if I really try to find the right shop or by haggling. But as far as I know the official price recomandation is 50 Euro as I saw it in most shops. On the other hand I never saw CTP2 for 100 DM let's round it to 50 Euro. I just saw it for 90DM and I got it for for 80 DM. So it is fact that the game is offered for a too high price.

I saw Civ3 for $110 AUD (Australian) last weekend at EB. No new game in Australia costs that much (usually $90 or $100).
