No, unfortunately Activision gave up support for the CtP series. This means that there will probably never be a sequel or an expansion pack or anything of the kind. However, if you want to play a new and improved version of CtP2 you could download some of the mods that you can find on this website.

well Alfonso,
Im sure your english is better than my spanish, but i'll try to make it clear for you
There will not be a CTP3, Activision hold the copyright to it ,if it were to be made - but it's very very unlikely.
But CTP2 was left easy to Mod - so you will find a constant and new supply of Mods to try. In this way CTP2 will always improve.
So stick here and see what happens! Try some of the Mods and have fun. Read the FAQ at the top of this Forum for more information on the different Mods available. Good Luck.
EDIT: Locutus - common give me a break, this is the second time this has happened beat me by 1min!!!

Your English is *infinitely*better than my Spanish. The only way to really learn a language is to use it regularly, and how better than talking about a game that you love? Now I'm one of the ones here who actually *likes* Civ3, but you'll notice that what I'm playing is CTP2. The topped thread on the mods compared is a great place to start, but as a very brief intro:
The Apolyton Pack is the closest to the original game, basically cleaning up the mess that Activision left behind.
MedMod emphasizes the mid-game (Medieval Mod), but modifies and strengthens the whole game.
Crade (of Civilization) emphasizes (and expands) the early game, meaning the Ancient and Classical ages. There are very few changes beyond the Middle Ages.
The biggest change is improving the AI to make the game truly challenging for human players. Right now, Cradle has the strongest AI, followed by MedMod2, followed by Apolyton pack (for reasons detailed in the big thread).
Welcome aboard!

A look will already throw to them to all that patches.
That it hurts that ctp does not leave again on sale.
Thanks to accept to me on board.
Greetings from Sagunto (Spain)
