Hmmm, I'm just wondering why a Macedonian General would have a Latin name, Gitus Scousae.

In fact it was what we call 'ancient greek' in France. I studied that 4 years: can still read the alphabet quite easily, but wouldn't be able to make a complete sentence .

No problem, Andemagne - just a very large game with literally hundreds of units to consider - these things cannot be rushed ...

Yes - it really is taking me forever - there is no way I'm going to manage more than about 5 moves ...

I don't have time at the moment to handle a monster - but I have asked SG(2) to try to play for me ...

IIRC we are not far from the end. IMO playing no more than 5 turns each is perfectly reasonable...and I am perfectly sure that (with a bit of training ) SG2 should be able to replace SG1.

I, too, had never seen it before this succession game. I would be happy to continue if others are still willing to play.

Sure I am still willing to play,
...but you know, Marquis, I think the game is in the hands of SG(1) - or maybe SG(2)- ...
The difference with SlowThinker is that he uses one hour/turn when playing turn 1, while the Gits hate playing one hour/turn (which happens generally close to the endgame).
(La Fayette, waiting quietly for next turn to be played)
