silly question
what do those numbers mean next to the name of your civ in the lower left display? usually its something like 0.10.0 or something.

Change the 2 sliders in the upper right corner of the domestic advisor screen (F1) and you will see...

They indicate your levels of spending. Which are adjustable in the Domestic Advisor screen.

It goes (cash.science.luxuries).

not a silly question
that was a good question. once someone wanted to know what the "fancy soap" looking thing was that made all his units start moving really fast when he hit it. (the next turn button in the lower left) i could not figure out how to cancel an agreement for a long time. thought it was bad programming/game design. i think we are all victims of sucky rulesbook and supporting materiel.
