SMAX on a Pentium 4?
I just installed SMAX on my new Pentium 4 based computer and the game tells me that it might not support my processor.
I click "ok" and then the game exits back to the Win XP desktop.
Wtf is that?

I run it on ME pn a P4. Maybe try what works there:
Edit AlphaCentauri.ini ---> At the end of the file skip a space and then insert:
[PREFERENCES]
ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm=1
Hope it works!

I get a message on my Pentium IV my cpu is not supported and I could get crashes, but it works anyway, perfectly. Strange...

That is standard with the P$ and the line in the ini file. The program still does not recognise the CPU but the line tells it to run anyway.
