Yep. I know it isnt be hard to do it. I already figured out how it is done. And having a template of an wonder tileimp it will be just cuting, pasting and very little to write.
What i basicly mean is to use most wonders in the game to have an imp. Redoing the wonders.txt.
Eg. I did not have in my wonder.txt the Angkor Wat, the Taj Mahal, the Temple of Zeus, the Colossus and others. But i did include them now.
And i am also including some game balacing and chart/readme work (of all game not just the wonders ). Thats why it may take a while.

Bluevoss,
So you would like to see a more story driven CTP2? Or at least the odd 'scenebreak' , abit of text/graphic to outline the odd event or mission success(launch to the moon etc). This is why i like the wonder movies, i don't always watch them these days but they do add something. And yes i was thinking of a kind of seperate loading stage as the game progressed, i don't know how/if CTP2 could say handle pedrunn's SpaceMod and then zoom down onto individual planets, but i'm just dreaming at the mo And yes Alien civilizations are a must in this stage of the game. I think once Diplomacy is really sorted out it would work well on this kinda game.
IW,
even though i'm mostly an ancient-fan, i did like the future idea in CTP, it's just a shame it didn't quite work(more time to work on it and it would have been a great addition), And yes i'd love to play a game of CTP2 and take my rock throwing civ to the stars! I don't care if i have to spend months(or years) on it - that's the kind of depth the good games of 'olden days' used to offer
Pedrunn,
No rush on the Mod needed, i'm patient and i think all you Slic guys work too hard anyway. We've got lots of Mods to play with as is - still from the odd screenshot i've seen and following your thread i am looking forward to it ....... and the Wonder Improvement when you guys have it ready.
Still i dream of the day when Activision give up the source code and the modders can have a ball!........and industrial nations reduce pollution so our children can have a beautiful world too,and we spend less on weapons and more on space techs
such a nice dream!

Yeah, but to the people in 1950, THIS is the future. Go out and look at a shopping plaze box store....
I think that someone once suggested that TV be very prelivent in the game, as an offset to unhappyness. Maybe there needs to be a future development it leads to, "Real Stupid TV", which decreases riots, prodcution, and science, all at once.

Bluevoss,
Ain't that the truth! I don't know how it works for the majority of the people in the U.S, but over here in U.K most people stick with our 5 channel TV(yep just 5!!). This has never been a problem for me as the only thing i'd really liked about Sky,when i've seen it at a friends, was the sport+ discovery channels. The rest was 'Real Stupid TV'(IMHO). Over here our 5 channels have done a good job of reprsenting just about everything, untill recently. Now i video about 2-3 programs a week max, our TV is now full off inane chat shows and inane cooking shows - it's really dumbed down.
So, maybe we need this 'Real stupid TV' as a future advance to TV in CTP2, ok it'll keep your people happy(which will be important for a future civ) but production and science will suffer! Yeah i like your idea alot - sort of a precursor for the collapse of a bloated, stale superpower Maybe it could be a pre-requisite for a Modern civ split/revolution?

Another one for the Wish List
I have a couple of things I would like to see done in future mods.
A: For the next version of WAW, when you capture a city, and you choose to go on a bloodbath, I think that at least a fourth of that city's population should scatter around the map in any city except your own, 'cause I think that in real life you could never truly wipe out 100,000 people using machine guns, tanks, artillery, etc. I think that during the course of the slaughter, a lot of that city's citizens are going to flee to other cities within their civ or other foreign cities if they are the last city standing.
This would also give something else for the player to worry about beside a huge dip in regard.
B: A much better sprite editor to work with. I have downloaded the sprite editor for CTP1 and I cannot use it. Probably because I don't have PhotoShop (all I have is PhotoMAX) Could it be possible to create a new one that is much easier to use?

Emperor Matthew, the sprite tool is actually not an editor, it is just a compiler. You collect all the images together, run the program and it makes a sprite. You don't need photoshop, you only need to be able to make *.tif files.

Press the print-screen button on the keyboard, open a graphics program (Paint works if nothing else) and press "paste (from clipboard)"

Isn't there something like that already in MedMod???? No need to do double work.

It is in MedPack2. But not linked to the city capture option, it is a mod of its own. If a city is captured IIRC than one quarter of the population will be moved to the remaining cities of the former home civ.

Dave & others:
I've been thinking about it, and what I'm going to do is this:
- Bloodbath a city.
- City destroyed.
- A number of Revolutionary units are formed based on city size.
- They are barb units.
I see this as the best option for WAW.

Well, good luck copy-pasting the MedMod then (some minor changes will be needed but that's pretty much how MedMod works if I understand correctly)...

Actually, I was going to change the KillCityOption slic so that when it does the "delete a pop" loop, there is a 1-in-4 chance of a Revolutionary being created. Why reinvent the wheel? Plus, I'll only need........ *counting* ......... 5 lines of code to do it.

Are the revolutionary units going to adapt and change throw the ages
like spear man in the ancient
to war walkers in the modern
or a you going for the easy option and just giving em a spy

Big MC:
In WAW, the revolutionary unit is comparible with the machine-gunner. The unit won't need to increase in abilities as there's only one age.

is the combat effectiveness going to go up because by the time you get war walkers you just care about machine gunners

You don't get war walkers in WAW. It's only from 1900-1950 in timeframe.

Actually, you wouldn't get War Walkers in cheat mode. I changed all the units so if you choose a non-WAW unit you get a revolutionary.
