The Weather
I've always felt that it's the one realistic aspect never covered by any civ simulation. The weather. Natural disasters. Acts of God. Just a few random effects every now and then would be cool. But to have a random natural disaster feature you could enable/disable in a civ simulation would make for lots of fun
