Right time irrelevant, I have had it some while. Only right place. You do not think I would give up a treasure to a durn furrinner, outside TEXAS, did you? Anyway I polished up my oldest cd and thus reduced required reserve equipment levels by 1.

Anyway, good job in increasing the cult of SMAC by one.

Hmmm........

I appreciate the thought, but I meant where can I buy one.

I am only thirteen, with extremely annoying parents who believe that everyone that doesn't go to school with me, who they have not met is going to be a homocidal killer who wants to abduct me.

No chance that i will ever be able to get it from you, sorry, thanks though....

Oh, I thought you were older with the '73' on your handle. Those annoying parents save your skin more often than you know.
smac-x is pretty much out of stock. Only a few online stores (in europe, IIRC) have it in stock new. There are used one at several resell/auction sites.
Have your dad or mom call me and come by my office. I will only be in my office for a part day tommorow.
I assume you already have smac (necessary for smac-x)

Cannot be too cautious these days. Well they can meet me in a public and secure area, with as many bodyguards as they deem appropriate.

Then in about a week they get a knock on the door and a guy with a suit and dark sunglasses asks for PhoenixPhlame73 and metions that it is a matter of national security.

Meanwhile back at Lefty's office he notices two new employees that follow him around a lot.

Try your dad. They are commonly cooler about this than moms. If either of your parents are involed in law or real estate, they may already know me or my family.

Lefty...obviously the Phoenix has played enough SMAC to know when you are trying to bribe him for a planatary council vote!

Lefty - "just take the datalink Phoenix and remember that the UN Charter really is a bad idea"

Phoenix - "I'm not so sure that my Pact parents are cool with this...besides what's that you're hiding behind your back?"

Lefty - "It's just a nerve gas pod! You see I've been having a little problem with Miriam she...um...sometimes...um...makes me feel icky. But forget about that so do you want the datalink or not?"

I have know Evelyn, your mother, from preschool days actually, she just happens to be more memorable (a real stunner) than I. We had been neighbors since birth, 3 houses apart on Stanford ST, then I moved about a 1.5 block around the corner when we were 7. Same class. We are now a 7 block apart (but the game is at my office, I will bring it home monday), I am at 711 Terrell RD.

This has to be - hands down - the absolute Best Thread Ever!
It should be topped for all posterity.
Might want to x-out the street addresses though.
