Archive?
When were these enabled?
Is it enabled for anyone, or is it private?
It's hard to notice, it might have been threre for a while will there be news on it?
Could you specify the default viewlength to from the beginning for them?

Markos, WHAT!?! He's the first? I've noticed this several months ago, that they're only for staff members, and I asked you over a PM to do a thing we need for the community, and that you never did!
. Sure, I'm joking but Markos, you better did what I asked you for then .

Announcement listing, yes... but I've even taken a good read in the CtP MP Archives.

I don't think I had acvcess to them. I remember trying out all forumids it had told me I didn't have permission to view when I became a staff member, and I didn't found the archives then.

Gramphos, it might have to do with you not being a staff member until pretty recently... I was there before you joined.
What? Who moved this out of the Staff Room?

Agree with Zopperoni. True fact: Quite a lot of time spent browsing Apolyton uses the drop-down list, and let's face it, we aren't going to use the Archives tons. And now they're hogging space at the valuable bottom, which it defaults to.
Markos, could you put the archives back on "top" of the pull down menu thing? That way if you want to see the archives, you have to make a concious effort to scroll up past Civ3, instead of having them clog things up when trying to surf between the OT, S&D, and Other Games.

Do staff members have the same post count in the staff room as well?

I agree that putting it on the dropdown menu clutters it up, and it should be moved.

Can you put it on the top of the pull down menu?
I'm used to moving between the OT, the Community and the Other Games forum and I dont want to get used to the new order.

I am glad to see the archives back on line, but just wondering- what is the philosophy behind archiving so many threads witho nly 1-7 posts in them? When some 50-100 post threads are not archived? (Perhaps I mererly missed some of the larger threads) but I seem to remember threads with more discussion in them than the ones which are in the archives.
and second- may we post in the archives? If we wish to?

yes please, at the top of the menus. It's just habit to click the bottom to see the new spams, threadjacks, flames, and propaganda better known as the OT

Markos - a while back I gave links to CtP-MP archived threads to people. Will those work for them all now?

The only bad thing is that the smileys and quote stuff is in HTML type format.
Pisses me off to see whole lines of stupid html crap with ?&=( stuff in them.

+1 for those who want the drop-down box re-ordered so the archives aren't at the default end.

Yes, it would be nice to have the OT back down the bottom of the drop-down menu (Forum Jump). +1 here too
