Carry ground units
I wonder if will be able to carry or pull ground units in Civ 3. There's been a number of times I wished I could take my ground troups and transport them in my mech infantry.

Yes, I've often felt the same! Let's have an armoured personnel vehicle or mech inf (as you say), that can transport several units. Also, a whole stack of units ought to be able to travel together by rail!

Carrying paratroopers in helicopters and certain transport planes would also be great as well.
I sure hope Firaxis will consider implementing this.

I agree, but I think as a balancing factor, it should be limited to only infantry units, no armored or mech units. Being able to place armor just anywhere without sea transport or airlift just seems too powerful to me.

Yeah, of course you can't put tanks into mech infantry vehicles -- just people
But you can put a tank in some helicopters.

That is a good idea and also your aircrafts should go further than railroads
|
