Ecthelion, you should make an html "Apolyton Yearbook", with all our pictures and descriptions.

I changed to loinburger because I got tired of technophile, and had also taken to using loinburger elsewhere (like in TFC, or when playing Drunken Timesplitters). A loinburger is the name that Alfie's Inn (in Glen Ellyn, IL) gives to its hamburgers.

i was planning on starting a new Apolyton yearbook (in html, much easier to work with and to view) soon. Could possibly include voices. I'd like to wait until the end of May, when finals are behind me and I have the summer to do it.
Shall I start a thread?

I used to use the name "Lazarus and the Gimp" here (and still do on most other forums I use, unless I'm being "White Dog" or "Voice of Occupied Europe".
People kept asking me what it meant. I decided to try thinking of a name that was simultaneously so obvious and belligerant that no-one would question me on it.
Mission accomplished.

Is the second word in your username supposed to be an adjective or a verb?

Dalgetti was a scottish knight from a book I don't remember now. I found the nick pretty cool and used it in RPGs and stuff.
it's still here , AND ON ICQ .. ...
a little song in russian about Dalgetti the knight:
Shotlandskij paren' Dalgetti
Poehal v |r-Riyad.
Ot sputnikov otstal v puti,
Peski krugom lezhat.
Ustal idti, ustal idti!
Gde vzyat' glotok vina?
A zhdet tebya, moj Dalgetti,
Sultanova zhena...

I think it would rather be an expletive interjection, which is neither.

Mine came from when I was trying to think up a cool handle for Quake 3. I played around with different ideas, decided on this one because I was born in November, and I'm a boy.

My first screenname, Squonk, comes of one Genesis' song's lyrics. It is little furry animal that cries constantly and therefore is an easy pray for hunters who simply follow the tear-stained tracks. When they capture a Squonk, it dissolves itself into tears.
Heresson is a bit different.
One guy named Jesus was laughing that Squonk sounds like Skunk, so I decided to change it. I was translating one thing to English but I lcouldn't recall what would be English name for Jez. I didn't have English dictionary, so I took french one. It was: heresson. I liked it a lot, and took it for my name. Later my mum told me it should be herisson, that there is a mistake there, but I didn't change it, it would be too similar to provost Harisson. The funny thing is that Jez sounds so similar to Jesus.

Grrr!! is an expression of anger which I used on my own behalf when I was little. It stuck. Now more people know me by Grrr!! or Pi (As in 3.141...) than by my real name. Pi is not really a good netname as it is too short, and Grrr!! is good.

It's also known for sucking of one's own semen out of the anus or vagina. That was the terminology as I knew it until I looked it up @ everything2.com.
Glorious, isn't it?!
