My site will be moving

I'm just gonna post this so the news reaches everyone in time.
I've now just had enough of Geocities. The site statistics are now totally unreliable and visitor numbers change from 0 to 1600 to 0 again in three visits within five minutes. Furthermore, I seem to be unable to reach the account FTP-wise. Geocities keeps spamming into my mailbox, and geocities sites in general are slow and full of pop-ups.
I will move my site next month. I already have an account (with my own domain), although I originally wanted to use it for a site I made for a school project, the domain name http://www.alexanderthegreat.de should give you an idea what it will be about (it's not online yet), but keep this adress in mind, as it will soon host my Civ2 site also. As soon as I have an idea of how to terminate my geocities account, I will do so.

Now we're on the topic of site moving anyway, my site has just moved too (see signature).
Good luck with the site! (perhaps you can end GeoCities by putting up illegal stuff and then reporting yourself

Well, the news is out, the site has moved. The new URL is:

Please everybody update your bookmarks and/or the links on your site. A forwarding adress will be left on my old site once I am able to reach it.

The miscellaneous section and the scenarios aren't on yet.
