No server list shows up for internet MP

I'd like to play the internet multiplayer CTP2 but to no avail.

After showing up the "Waiting For Servers" message, this "Waiting For Servers" dialog box seems to be up forever, and cannot find any server, so I can only press the "cancel" button.

Firstly, I'm sure I have added the servers.dat file as said in the Q23 of FAQ in the correct directory.
Secondly, I have pinged the 3 servers, and they respond rather well and quickly in the ping requests.

I am now in Shanghai, China, is this why the problem occurs? But I do think the internet here is almost the same as that outside China (apart from the fact that many politically sensitive or anti-communist websites is blocked)

Any ideas?

I too have installed the latest server.dat file per Q23 of the FAQ. Still whenever I log online and go to the servers I never see anyone there. It's frustrating because I finally had some free time this weekend to play.

I'm not interested in joining the battlefield because I checked out their site and it doesn't seem very active to me. Anyone have any positive experiences with them?

What about the Apolyton MP league? How does that work and how is it going so far?

Well, my problem is not that I cannot find anyone on any server; my problem is that there's simply NO SERVER found, and that the "Waiting For Servers" dialog box will still be there even after an hour if you do not cancel it by pressing the "Cancel" button.

Am I the only one suffering this?
