Perhaps potential VP's should offer their services to the King? And then the King may choose more easily?

Congrats for the new Cab.
About the V/P, as no candidate there, we are in situation of appointment by the president.
May I suggest :
- reconducting Shaka Naldur, who perfectly do his job
- or nominate MrWhereItsAt who had an honorous poll against the precedent president.
... if they are candidate, of course.

Hmm. I'm looking forward to finding out who'll become VP. And will their first duty be the uncontested positions poll or will it be Shaka's last official act?
And thanks, JCP. I'm a little puzzled why some ppl are suggesting me for VP, especially since my campaigning against our beloved shade was very... bloody at times (but a good-natured bloodiness - man that guy has no qualms about assassinations! No wonder we did so well in our last term.)

It's great to see 3 new Cabinet members for May, a month destined to see the rise of United Apolyton at the expense of several neighboring civs.
Congratulations to President cavebear and the new High Council. May your reign be as glorious as your election victories!
I agree that Shaka Naldur and MrWhereIitsAt would be fine VP candidates.
Other possible VPs might include Nimitz, civman2000, DarkCloud, and JCP, all of whom post regularly and conscientiously on the issues of the day.
My personal choice? A player who has served us long and well, and can perhaps offer us some final bits of wisdom during his final month of availability. Cavebear, ppl -- for your consideration, I offer...
GRAMPHOS for VP!!
Hydey where are you???

If we are to have any Vice-other positions, what would they do? Surely the VP has all the responsibility if anyone pikes their position.

All the suggested candidates would make excellent Vice Presidents.
Having given the matter much thought yesterday, I made an offer to, and it was accepted by:
(sound of fanfare and cheering crowds)
MrWhereItsAt
Welcome to the team MWIA!

Congratulations, MrWhereItsAt!
You are now one heartbeat (or hard drive) away from the Presidency!
Great choice, cavebear.
