Feudalism *is* a government type. It's based on vassals and a weak king. The economic system your'e thinking of is called manorialism. Manorialism and feudalism usually go hand in hand, if you have one you have the other. Sometimes these terms are used interchangably.
Trip: Socialism is a very vague term used to describe just about any philosophy opposed to capitalism, from anarchists to social democrats to bolsheviks to market socialists and others. Not all socialists are communists but all communists are socialists. Not all socialists advocate state control of the economy, some advocate the abolition of government. See

Personally, I'd rather they give us more options for designing governments then new ones within the current limitations.
