A Panama Canal Event?
Ok, I'm creating a set of Panama Canal events in the latest scenario. The accompanying text fires up and is there when the trigger is fired off, but the changeterrain isn't working the way I want it to.
Is there something I should know about the maprect numbers? I used normal map coordinates in the event text, but nothing happens--the terrain doesn't change. How do I get it to change?

It is the same as the moveunit command, so it has to be 4 numbers.
If it is only one hex, just put the same number 4 times.

Ok, just so I've got this straight . . .
So, for example, if the number on the map is 71,117, then I need to type in; 71,117,71,117 (or is it) 71,117,71,117,71,117,71,117
Sorry to be so obtuse, I just wanna get it right.

CHANGETERRAIN
maprect
71,117,71,117,71,117,71,117

Yes, I inquired about maprecets awhile ago, though my question was regarding moveunit commands. Same deal though. The computer wants you to draw a box around the tiles that the intended action will effect. However, for your one tile 'box' all you need to do is repeat the coordinate in question 4 times.

Exile
I hope you realize that whatever (i.e. units and cities) is in 71,117 will be obliterated by the changeterrain event. I seem to remember some strange things happening to cities when you do this. As I remember the city was sort of there but not there. Thinking this was not a desirable feature, I changed my rectangle to omit the city.

Yep . . .
I also read something about that in my paperback scenario guide last night. I'll reexamine the city when I test this again to see what is happening to it, if anything.
