Explanation might be necessary. Niko Nirvi is THE grand old man of Finnish game magazines. He's worked for two primary computer magazines, Mikrobitti and Pelit, reviewing games with his own, excellent style. He also does columns for Pelit - sometimes they are just same old "foreign mags suck, burger games suck, Mike Singleton sucks" but there are pieces of brilliance. Sometimes he does parodic "views to the future".
Here's a piece of one of them. (It's Civilization designed by Mike Singleton.)
quote:

CivGold has been made with 5D-Fracxels™, and it has 3000 milliard square kilometers of explorable area, all in glorious 3D. "CivGold world is many more times bigger than our Earth", Singleton told us. "There are eight opponents now, and each uses AI routine taken from my game Starlord." Infortunately, the combined size of the game and the soundtrack by Berlin Philharmonics forced them to make changes to game itself.
"Well, we managed to include two Wonders of the World, and almost whole 9 Civilization Advances. But the battles between four different units can now be fought in real time!" Singleton said.

14 civs to choose from? Only 12 major wonders? I thought games were supposed to include
more, not
less. It's getting scary, scary indeed.
