Calling Mercator
Mercator, is your site down? I'm in need of a particular map and wanted to search for it at your map haven, but I can't get into your site.
Another thing: I can't get MapEdit to work on my computer. I can open the program and fiddle with maps, but every time I try to save changes I get a box saying 'Run time error '53': File not found.' Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What Case said (see my signature).
And about MapEdit... Do you have Windows95 (not 98 or any other version, just 95)?
If you do, try installing DCOM:
http://www.microsoft.com/com/dcom/dcom95/dcom1_3.asp
Otherwise I have to think a bit more...

I'll look into it... More people have had this problem, but I'm not sure if I had a solution, or if DCOM was that solution...

I'm not quite sure what You mean...
Anyway according to one megalomanic medieval cronicary, they didn't, and Poles were fighting as succesfully with G.I.Caesar
as with Alexander the Great earlier
Anyway, Romans did cross Danube and got as far as to Polish southern borders.
Somehow they couldn't get further north

Are you sure? I think Poles would have been much better off under Romans than under the Ostrogoths and Huns.

Are You sure Poles were ever under Goth rule? Goths marched through Poland most probably, but didn't settle there for long.

Me too - if only for the reason that the Poles could have had a pronouncable language based on Latin

The latin language would probably adopt our strange sounds and they would spread in RE...

Bah, slavic languages have a lot of wonderful sounds that are missing from Latin. For example, they have a letter for the beginning of "cellar", "celebration", and "tzar". In Latin's defense, I would like to say that English sucks , blows, and stinks.
