Select Tile Button in Editor Doesn't Work

I want to copy and paste a part of the map in the map editor, but even if I click the select tile button on the menu, I cannot select tiles. I don't get a "lasso" at all. I tried changing resolution back from the large one I was using to 1024 x 768 and still it doesn't work. I am using Windows XP, have the patch installed, and the game works fine otherwise. Please help!

Hmmm, I don't seem to have the same problem on my copy of the editor. Maybe there was an error that occured while your computer was installing the program or perhaphes the files have become curropted. I recommend reinstalling the editor and then just fiddling with it for a while.

Tell me if that helps at all.
