16 Civ saved games tester
Hey playing 16 Civ games is really damn slow even on my Pentium 4 and RDRAM memory computer.
I have a game at 1040 AD,warlord, real world map, correct starting location, large. My empire is the 2nd biggest but my cities are metropolis and my military has the most sophisticated military technology with nearly 20 Cavalry 2 army of riders and cavalry and ten over musketeer where the rest of civ are using mostly longbowman, horseman, swordsman with few using Knight
Guys try it whether the gameplay is slow on your com
or is it my com really got prob?

How long does it lag between turns? It took about 2 minutes on my Duron+ 900.
I have noticed lags during turns since 1.21. I'm not sure what's causing it. I saw some significant ones on that turn. Not anything I haven't seen in my own games though.
BTW. You'll get into big trouble being at war with many of your neibours at once. Soon it will be all. Do you want the Babs attacking you too? Get them on your side, and busy killing Persians. Rather than busy sharpening their swords for you.

A wild guess would be 15 minutes on my machine, so I'm not going to test it...

You should. What's 15 minutes? I was preparing for 30.
It would be good to have some common benchmarks.

Maybe I'll do it later, I don't have much time at the moment!
