ELEPHANT SMUGGLERS CAUGHT!

With peace in the world, King Vlad History Guy does public service works for the common good, such as building dykes and bridges, and the like. He has also overseen the shut-down of that infamous Elephant Smuggling Ring. Yes, he set his Chief of Security, Pierre Snookum, to work on tracking down the members of this elusive band, and today, a raid by EEE MPs has captured most of the members of the Elephant Smuggling Ring. Mike Kookle, a reporter for Eastern European News, interviewed an MP in action. "This guy, over here, he's got these elephants everywhere in this room. Hot merchandise, you know. Look, an elephant in this guy's packing tube, this guy has one tucked into his pants, and this guy has one sticking out of his boot...these are desperate men..."

I will certainly not start any war with PRNZ, If the communist test case in Western Australia turns out well, I may consider introducing it to other provinces. But that may take a long while yet.
I would be more than willing to sign a trade agreement about the margarita's and pina colada's.
I don't know if you have any special interests in Mongolian products, but I could export some fine red-dyed silk, cotton and fur for fashionable communist clothing and flags.

*NEWS FROM THE WIRE*

In Godunova, rumors have begun to surface that, in fact, His Majesty Tsar Boris is a usurper of the crown. It seems that years ago Boris's predecessor died, leaving a young son on the throne. The son was far too young to govern, and Boris was named as Regent. However, the boy mysteriously died in a church courtyard one day. The commission investigating the death (headed by Boris) ruled it an accidental suicide. Shortly thereafter, bereft of a ruler, the Madagascarian Council named Boris Sovereign and Tsar.

Now rumors are being uttered--in secretive, fearful tones of course--that Boris actually had the boy murdered to secure his own ascension to the throne.

The official line from the Office of the Tsar is to ignore the rumor as "beneath His Majesty." In today's press conference, when asked about the allegations, the Tsar grew noticeably pale, began to perspire, looked around nervously and mumbled incoherently under his breath. He then left the room, citing breathing problems.

Since yesterday, everywhere around the world boaters, swimmers and other human representatives in the marine world have started to notice that something very important has been missing. Ther reports are not yet official, but it has been widely acknowledged in newsgroups and forums around the world that nobody has seen a dolphin.

Naturally.

That's why I suggested the alliances to sit around the table, instead of just grabbing the land myself and giving it to you.

I doubt any of the inhabitants would object to living in a paradise. The only problem is probably the will of the involved leaders to surrender some of their territory.

I strongly urge anyone with a knowledge of Photoshop to continue with these duties so that the conquest thread could continue.

If anyone wants to take over, i'll send over the file by email.

I think I can do it... But I don't have Photoshop, and I'm not sure if PSP can handle the file format, so could you either save it in an older Photoshop format (2.5 I think) if that's possible or necessary (maybe the file format hasn't changed), save it in PSP format if possible, or save each layer as a separate image.

Mercator (what a nice nick for a wannabe mapmaker, BTW): If you get around to make a map, leave the Duchy of Straylight out of it. There are officially no dolphins on Earth anymore in this thread. All have transcended. No human exactly knows how, or why, though.

I am declaring the PRNZ the official protector of Tungstenia, since he contacted me allowing the PRNZ to be a part of the "Honolulu Pact".

Barley-If I were you, I'd take over Dr. Stiby's holdings in Djibouti and start your sphere of influence there. I took over his holdings in New Caledonia and look at my communist influence now! A ha ha ha ha ha!

I feel that it is getting quite cramped where I am and feel the need to expand PRNZ influence and territory.

New Canada cordially welcomes what looks like to be the merger of the Lakes Pact and the Honolulu Pact.

In a celebration speech in Helsinki, chancellor of New Canada, his highness the most glorious chancellor and defendor of liberty and yadda yadda yadda, warns his allies in the Lakes Pact and Honolulu Pact:

"There are some, very powerful regimes in the world who scorn the concepts of liberty, freedom, justice, socialism, etc etc. As allies, we must be prepared to defend these concepts against those uncivilized barbarians."

Military sources report activity on all borders, and a large naval detachment travelling northeast on the Atlantic Ocean.

Breaking News:

Several commando raids in major cities of the British Isles have effectively destroyed the government there. Bystanders report that small groups of men, dressed in black, attacked key establishments and destroyed them.
Scottish locals also reported of a few laboratories that were invaded and that equipment was removed. As is evident from the many sightings, the raiders did not try to conceal their actions. They however met little resistance.

In other news, the Southern Federation has successfully completed a shipment of a rare breed of sheep to its Mars colony.

The unilateral Southern annexation of Central America, the rightful territory of Richelieu, has caused anger, fury, and disgust around the world.

The nations of the Lakes Pact & Honolulu Pact have jointly condemned this act by the Southern Federation.

"Richelieu is a member state of the Honolulu Pact, and thus if you don't pull out of Central America immediately, you will face the combined wrath of all Lakes Pact and Honolulu Pact members."

The Lakes Pact has also condemned the invasion of the British Isles.

meanewhile, advanced cloning techniques on Incubia , complete with the gene randomizer , have created tens of millions of human beings, all differing from each other. The economy barely stands on Incubia, all research is halted and the economy has gone self-sustainable , with each adult caring for tens of kids ,and with only a small number of people being scientists and artists. most of people are peasants and teachers now, with the next generation's prospects looking very bleak. Dalgetti , now treated with gene therapy , is still pretty young, But very tired. The people follow him , but merely due to earlier memories of greatness, and lack of choice.
