Differences in scenario creation
I'm trying to get started on scenario creation, and have found lots of useful info on this forum as well as the CTP1 forum. Since I am a CTP Modding (and playing for that matter) Newbie, My question is what are some of the major differences in scenario creation between CTP1 and CTP2? I'm Hoping for a list of useful tidbits that will not only help me but also anyone else that may be in my same shoes. I am aware of the various MOD Manuals, by Hexagonia, Locutus, etc. Thanks in advance.

The differences aren't too great. The text files are structured slightly differently sometimes, SLIC is much more advanced (but I'm not sure if you want to go into that so early) and the cheat editor is more advanced, but in large outlines it works the same.

Locutus,

Did you know of any blatant bugs? I just created a new scenario folder in game's scenario folder and everytime that I try to launch the game now it freezes up. This only happens when the "New Folder" is present.

Try renaming it to something without spaces (e.g. 'New_Folder'), I think this can cause problems...
