Mon Dieu! I think you are right - American Rules Rugby Football is a TBS game!
On a related note some Brit rugger came over here last year in the off season and practiced with the local SF 49ers and his impressions were pretty interesting. He said there was no way he would play US style cause it was too dangerous and the US guys said the same thing about Rugby.
Back to the Association Football thing; France will not make it past the quarters and Italy to win. States Utd will surprise everyone not with wins but with the improvement of their level of play. Within the next ten years gp will get laid and we will be considered a quality side, and within twenty years we will be the dominant world power - take the style blend that the French have put together and raise it exponentially. As a sign of that, Imran and I kicked some Eurasian arse in the CYKI league that just finished.

Yep . Woohoo!
And I did some checking, and you finished 50th among ALL American participants in CYKI. Congrats!
I'm quite happy finishing 4th in the Apolyton CYKI league. Two Americans in the top 4? MWAHAHA

Rugby League is the most gladatorial football code, bar none!
Of course, soccer is probably the most skillful, even if only because the largest number of people play it. American football is perhaps the most strategic, but why the bloody hell do they stop so much?!!! Why the hell does a one hour game take three hours to play?? Aussie rules is rough and requires great stamina to play (two hours!), but keep in mind that it was invented to keep cricket players fit for the winter because Rugby caused too many injuries. Rugby is considered by it's fans as the purest form of the game, but of course they can't tackle to save their lives Rugby League takes the crown as the toughest game of all, with it's ferocious gang tackling, lack of body armour, great speed of play and continuity. It has more strategic than Rugby, yet more fluid than American Football.
I know few people outside Australia, UK, France, and Pacific islands know about the game, but all who witness it are converted
The toughest of all Rugby League games, the Queensland vs New South Wales "State of Origin" series, will be showing live on Fox Sports around the world this wednesday night, or GMT 10:30am. It's even better to watch with beer!

Actually I like watching Rugby a lot!
I remember watching Italy - Scotland about 2-3 years ago, when for the first time we beat Scotland.... I was so happy.
Italy is still preatty bad at Rugby compared to England, South Africa, Australia, France etc...
But finally Rugby is becoming much more popular than before... probably will never reach the level of popularity of Football (Soccer) or Volleyball, but is becoming very very popular
